VIGADEXA OPHTALMIC SOLUTION 5MG/1MG5ML
Description : Per mL Moxifloxacin HCl 5 mg, Dexamethasone Na phosphate 1 mg
Indications / Uses : Treatment of ocular infections caused by susceptible microorganisms; prevention of bacterial inflammation & infection that might occur after ocular surgery.
Contraindications : Hypersensitivity to quinolones. Epithelial herpes simplex keratitis (dendritic keratitis), vaccinia, varicella & other viral diseases of cornea & conjunctiva. Mycobacterial infection of the eye. Fungal diseases of ocular structures. Glaucoma & diseases causing thinning of cornea or sclera.
Special Precautions : Do not inject subconjunctivally nor directly into anterior chamber of the eye. Prolonged use may result in ocular HTN &/or glaucoma w/ damage to the optic nerve, defects in visual acuity & fields of vision, posterior subcapsular cataract formation, increased secondary ocular infections, overgrowth of nonsusceptible organisms including fungi; possible fungal infections of cornea. Superinfection. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
