FLANAX 275 MG TABLET
Indications / Uses
Relief of mild to moderately severe pain & fever w/ or w/o accompanying inflammation eg musculoskeletal trauma, post-op pain & post-dental extraction. Relief of pain associated w/ postpartum cramping & dysmenorrhea. Treatment of acute migraine attack.
Dosage / Direction for Use
Mild to moderately severe pain & fever w/ or w/o accompanying inflammation.
Relief of pain associated w/ postpartum cramping & dysmenorrhea: Initially 2 tab, then 1 tab 8 hrly. Postpartum pain: 2 tab as single dose.
Acute migraine: Initially 3 tab.
Additional 1-2 tab may be taken during the day ?? hr after initial dose. Max: 1,375 mg/day.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take immediately after meals.
Contraindications
Aspirin or other NSAID-induced asthma, rhinitis or urticaria. Active peptic ulcer or GI bleeding. Pregnancy & lactation. Children <2 yr.
