Description
FASPIC 400MG TABLET
Indications / Uses : Management of mild to moderate pain & inflammation in conditions eg dysmenorrhea, headache including migraine, post-op pain, dental pain, musculoskeletal & joint disorders eg ankylosing spondylitis, OA & RA including juvenile chronic arthritis, peri-articular disorders eg bursitis & tenosynovitis & soft tissue disorders eg sprains & strains. Also used to reduce fever.
Administration : Should be taken with food.
Contraindications : Known or history of hypersensitivity to ASA or any other NSAIDs. Patient w/ previous or active peptic ulceration; cardiac, liver & renal disease; asthma, urticaria, angioneurotic edema or other allergic reactions; GI bleeding; intestinal inflammatory disease; severe hepatic & renal failure; SLE & collagen disease; hemorrhagic diathesis or other coagulation alterations.
Special Precautions : Patients w/ preexisting GI disturbances, previous gastric or duodenal ulcer, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease & alcoholism; coagulation disorders. Previous episodes of bronchospasm. History of heart failure, HTN, preexisting edema, hepatic & renal impairment. Pregnancy, fertility problems or currently undergoing fertility investigations. Elderly.
