Description : Each tablet contains perindopril salified with arginine.

Indications / Uses : Treatment of HTN, CHF, prevention of stroke recurrence in combination w/ indapamide in patients w/ a history of cerebrovascular disease, reduction of risk of CV events in patients w/ stable CAD.

Administration : Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take before meals.

Contraindications : History or family history of Quincke’s edema. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.

Special Precautions : Salt-restricted diet or prolonged diuretic treatment. Heart, kidney & liver problems, receiving dialysis, aortic stenosis, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, renal artery stenosis, collagen vascular disease eg SLE or scleroderma, atherosclerosis, diabetes; galactosemia. Risk of allergic reactions in desensitization treatment, hemodialysis, anesth, surgery; LDL apheresis; recently suffered from diarrhea or vomiting, or dehydrated. Patients of Black origin. Angioedema. Perindopril in patients w/ collagen vascular disease, immunosuppressant therapy, treatment w/ allopurinol or procainamide, or a combination of these complicating factors especially if there is preexisting impaired renal function [some may develop serious infections which in a few instances did not respond to intensive antibiotic therapy; periodical monitoring of WBC count is advised & patients should report any sign of infection (eg, sore throat, fever)].
